Sorry for total lack of posts recently. Exams will be over in a few weeks and I will be back with lots of new exciting recipes for you all.
I have been waiting patiently for Health Hub to open for what feels like forever, and luckily, when I finally got around to going for lunch, it did not disappoint. Sadly the weather wasn’t good enough to make the most of their cute outdoor decking area, but I have been back since for a green smoothie in the sun and it is just as lush as it looks.
I had a Raw Maccacino which was deliciously creamy and warming. The juices and smoothies looked great, but it was a miserable day and I fancied something hot. Then for food I chose the Sun Platter - hummus, olives, probiotic tomato salsa, babaganoush and assorted crackers - and Chloe had the Power Brunch - toasted sourdough with eggs, rocket and avocado. All the dips were tangy and fresh, and the crackers were awesome, Chloe's eggs looked pretty fab too. It was a shame they had run out of their raw lasagne, but it's given me a good excuse to go back again soon. They've also got some yummy sounding tacos on the menu as well as different daily salads.
The staff at Health Hub were so friendly and knowledgable. They managed to persuade me to have pudding even though I really don't like mint chocolate... and it was amazing! Raw mint chocolate coconut cake on a nutty base... YUM. Health Hub is well worth a visit and will only get nicer as the weather improves.
